I will try to find out whether I can get the fingerprint to work by getting the proper drivers for the fingerprint reader. I didn't get a working driver yet if i do i will update this log.
UPDATE: Personally I will want to recommend leaving the Original Vista installation on dv3000. XP on dv3000 is really fast except often having problems with Sound and Microphone.
